Workout Goal:Lengthening Strokes

Total Distance:1750 yards

Notes:Using longer strokes conserves energy and allows you to swim faster and longer. The swim drills in this workout focus on helping you to obtain a long smooth stroke that can be maintained over distance. On this workout, be sure to stretch your lead arm as far out in front as you can. Keep your head in a stable position, but roll your shoulders an body to get extra length. Stretch long and glide if you need to reach the wall and keep your strokes the same as, or less than the previous count in any set.
