Workout Goal:Breathing technique

Total Distance:1750 yards

Notes: This 1 mile workout concentrates on breathing technique. Most of the swimming will be crawl stroke but you can do any stroke on the freestyle warmup and warmdown. There is also a 4 x 100 swim dril that you can choose any stroke to swim. On the alternating breathing pattern drills one is set at the breathing interval, the other is your choice of breathing intervals. There is also a set in which you breathe only on your weakest side which will give extra practice to improve technique. By practicing breathing on your weakest side you will also improve your bilateral breathing overall.
